This large 14th-century chapel is located at the far end of the cathedral behind the [G 01 / ambulatory]. Today it is used for displaying the treasures of the cathedral including the [G 29 / Sancta Camisia] and pieces of the [G 26 / rood screen] given to the cathedral by Saint Louis (Louis IX) in the 13th century and was later mostly destroyed.
The windows, dating from the 14th and 16th centuries, are very different to the 12th and 13th-century windows in the cathedral. The older windows showed French saints and bishops of Chartres.
